About Trevon Stoltzfus

Trevon StoltzfusTrevon Stoltzfus was born and raised in southern New Mexico, where he had the privilege of working as an Elk, Mule Deer, and Antelope guide in the beautiful plains, high desert, and mountains of that state. From an early age the love of hunting, fishing, and the outdoors was instilled in him by a heritage passed down through his grandfather, uncles and older cousins. He now desires to pass that passion for the outdoors on to others through the written word, outdoor seminars, television, and videos.

He recently worked for Eastmans’ Hunting Journal as their Research Editor, Eastmans’ Bowhunting Journal as a Field Editor, and Eastmans’ Hunting TV Show. Trevon now continues to share his hunting and outdoor knowledge as a freelance writer, and speaks at various outdoor/hunting seminars on the tactics, ethics, and equipment necessary to take trophy big game in the west on do-it-yourself hunts.

Living in Northern Colorado provides Trevon with countless opportunity to study, scout, and hunt these majestic animals, as well as enjoy some of God’s most beautiful landscapes.

Trevon is also a Bowhunting addict and enjoys a daily practice regimen along with participating in many local 3D shoots when not out in the field scouting, photographing, videoing, and hunting.
